Take Notice that the Council of the Township of Cramahe will hold a public meeting on February 24th 2022, at 5:00pm via Zoom teleconference in order to consider adopting a new building permit fee schedule through Section 7 (6) of the Ontario Building Code Act as amended.

Purpose and Effect- The Township of Cramahe is proposing to amend the costs of the building permit fees following a review of the current permit fees and the costs associated with providing service to enforce the Ontario Building Code Act with regards to issuance of building permits through Section 7 of the OBC Act, as amended. The effect will be to increase the existing fee structure.
The following information will be available to the public on the township’s website www.cramahe.ca or by contacting the Chief Building Official, Don Butwell at dbutwell@cramahe.ca or in person at the township office by appointment:
The proposed permit fees
The current permit fees
Justification of the permit fee increase through the permit fee review report
Any person may attend the public meeting and / or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed permit fee schedule.
Note: This shall serve as Public Notice in compliance with Section 7 (6) of the OBC Act, as amended and Division C- Part 1 article 1.9, Sentence 1.9.1.2 of the OBC.
It is the intent that the new fee schedule will be effective as of March 17th 2022.
