We’re launching #CaptureCramahe and #LetsTalkCramahe for our Official Plan Review. We want you to submit your best photos in and around Cramahe!
We want you to share photos of your favourite place, historic landmarks, buildings, landscapes, locations etc. in our municipality.
Your photos could make it onto our new website, into newsletters, brochures and many more projects! We will make sure you have the bragging rights and give you credit for your submission. Just remember to tell us a brief story when you upload your photo so that way we can keep sharing for future generations.

This was taken from the bridge over the CN railway tracks on Barnes Road. It was a long freight train, and the only cargo was turbines for wind generators.

Cramahe Township offers many interesting trails throughout being offered to those who want to enjoy a long quiet walk; taking the horses for a Sunday stroll through the crisp clean fall air; or taking a ride with your All Terrain Vehicle. Many trails are well hidden and can loop around for hours. A great way to spend a day. Take a picnic along.

A NICE SUNDAY RIDE TO THE CHURCH
Castleton Ontario is rich in history.
The Dominion of Canada had not come into existence in 1865 when the brave and resolute pioneers, who settled the Castleton area in the early part of the 19th century, found the countryside raw and untouched, lonely, stern and grudging at times. The church is designated under the Ontario Heritage Act. I found this wonderful and colorful display in the front of the Castleton Church and couldn't leave without stopping for a photo.

Old barns are my passion and there are hundreds dotted across the Northumberland Hills - some of the finest in Cramahe. This one in particular, in Morganston, built circa June 1903, captured my imagination:

Rural rambles are my passion and there's nowhere better than Cramahe. This shot of the creek was taken on the bridge on Penryn Road. I think it typifies pastoral panorama that we find everywhere in Cramahe.
